DIRECT DEMOCRACY in ACTION:  CALIFORNIA

November 23, 2020 By Donald McKenzie Leave a Comment

A large number of Californians are tired and sick of Governor Newsom’s double standards and curfew orders.

In five Southern California Counties with a total population of 17.25 million people, Sheriffs are defying the State’s Governor. They will not arrest people for violating the state wide curfew that Governor Newsom has imposed. The curfew was imposed because apparently the Covid virus wakes up and goes out at 10 pm to harass the citizens.

Governor Newsom has lost all credibility for restricting activity in the name of Covid. He was caught out in a restaurant flouting his own rules. Rules such as wearing masks, putting your mask on between eating bites of food and social distancing. Together with other matters, he is facing a ‘Recall’ petition effort.

Note the Recall petition is not aimed at a political policy but is the result of mis-behaviour. In his case. Obvious double standards.
